To further standardize the behavior of tumor disease diagnosis and treatment in Hubei province and to strengthen medical quality management and control of neoplastic diseases, the Health and Family Planning Commission of Hubei Province formally approved the establishment of Hubei Province Tumor Medical Quality Control Center in October 2011. The Center is affiliated to Hubei Cancer Hospital and the panel is composed of tumor medical experts in the province, to carry out the quality control work of medical oncology.

    Based on all kinds of laws, regulations and health standard, the main responsibility of the Center is to establish tumor medical quality control management system, to perfect quality evaluation system and evaluation standard, to implement the provincial tumor medical quality management and quality control of the whole course in a planed and systematical way, to offer medical institutions professional guidance, quality control and technical supervision of tumor diagnosis and treatment technology, to guarantee the standardized and reasonable treatment.
