Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Fan Daiming come to our hospital have a special report.

    On the afternoon of March 7, Fan Daiming (the vice president of Chinese Academy of Engineering and our hospital chief scientist) comes to our hospital for a reprot named “Integrative Medicine Primary investigation”. Dean Wei Shaozhong presides the meeting ,and more than 200 employees attend to the report. last year academician Fan came to our hospital gave a lecture of quality strategy for discipline construction and hospital management.

    His speech is humorous, attractive, vivid, he says "This word will separate after long time united, also will do the opposite after long time pliting.So as the medical field." In the early, unite medical discipline was the main aspect,later departmental system dominanted. However, with the development of modern medicine, we find that departmental system bring advance as well as cause negative:patients are used as organ; diseases are used as symptom; clinical is used as examination;doctor is used as pharmacist; psychological and physical separation; clinical and  care cooperate bad; Western medicine and Chinese medicine conflicting; re-treatment than prevention; urban and rural medical standards differentiate.

    Academician Fan says medical field needs integration, to combinate the essence of general medicine, translational medicine, complementary medicine and evidence-based medicine.
